About us

The Mérieux Foundation USA is a 501(c)(3) organization based in Washington, DC. Alongside our sister organization, the Mérieux Foundation in Lyon, France, we are committed to advancing global health security and fighting infectious diseases. We focus especially on LMICs to improve health and living conditions for the most vulnerable.

We are experts in infectious disease, laboratory and healthcare infrastructure construction and equipment, diagnostics, surveillance, applied research, training, quality, health education and governance.

The Mérieux Foundation USA strategically engages American partners – from U.S. government agencies to corporations and non-profit organizations, foundations, academic centers, and research institutions. We provide advanced technical expertise and unparalleled experience in:
